Problem:

Catastrophic failure of one of the fans serving the operating rooms left them scrambling to find a fast solution.

Solution:

Instead of spending weeks and thousands of dollars on an engineer, Mainstream partnered with factory-certified contractors. They took on the project from start to finish – from initial analysis and design to installation! Mainstream designed and supplied a fan array that would eliminate the risk of this sort of failure in the future.

The team proposed, delivered, and installed a 12-fan array. The facility also saw the benefits of significantly reducing maintenance and downtime.

A closer look at what Mainstream did for this hospital:

  • Unit built as an exact match to what was existing.

  • In view of minimal shutdown, this unit was designed to be fit through the access provided.

  • A few of the upgrades:

    • WING coil upgraded to NFS pre-heat

    • Increased capacity

    • Multi-zone damper exact matched to existing

    • EC motor fans to increase efficiency and reduce noise
